Coming soon to iPhone and Apple Watch

Write what you ate.The calories are on us.

Sufra is a food journal that speaks your language. Type or say what you ate, and every line gets its calories from our food table, with our assumption written underneath so you can fix it in one tap.

  • A reminder before any charge
  • Arabic and English

A live example: a day's journal fills in line by line, and each line gets its calories. The total is 1,280 of 1,900 kcal.

In your words

Write it the way you say it.

No digging through long food lists. Type "2 cups of gahwa and 3 dates" or "latte وسط" the way you'd tell a friend, and Sufra gets it.

Try it now

Write a line and watch the math.

We work out the food and the amount from what you wrote, and the calories come from our food table. Every number shows its math.

Tap the mic and say what you ate. We ask one question at most, then send the line to your iPhone and Apple Health.

  • Double Tap opens the mic while your hand is busy with your coffee.
  • A glass of water in one tap.
  • Your favorites, ready: coffee, dates, laban.

Try it: tap the mic on the watch, or turn the crown.

Questions

You might be wondering

From our food table. We work out the food and the amount from what you wrote, then take the calories from the table. If a dish isn't in our table, we mark it as an estimate you can adjust in one tap.

No. Sufra works fully on iPhone. The watch is a bonus if you have one.

We start with Saudi and Gulf Arabic, and we understand Arabic and English mixed together, like "latte وسط". More dialects and dishes come next.

Soon, on the App Store in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Join the waitlist and we'll tell you the day it lands.

We use the line's text or the photo only to recognize the food, never for ads. We don't store your photos.
